Marcus Cheong
Book and Lyrics
Marcus Cheong is a writer and producer of inspirational stories for stage, screen and publication. Marcus has produced musicals in New York, television programs in Australia and multimedia content around the globe. Marcus is the writer and producer of the musical Angels (Off Broadway, 2006, Boston Conservatory of Music, 2010, Broadway Records Cast Album, 2017) and the subject of the documentary series Angels in New York (SBS, 2010). Marcus was the project manager for 10 time Tony award winner Tommy Tune (New York, 2012-2014). He is currently the vice president of the Amalgamate Dance Company (New York), a writer of music and film reviews for Sight Magazine (Melbourne, 2017-2024) and a media consultant for Shift Heart Interactive (New York 2020-2024).
CORNELIUS VAN WRIGHT
Illustrator
Cornelius Van Wright is a children’s book author and illustrator of over thirty picture books. Along with his with wife, Ying-Hwa Hu, also an illustrator, Cornelius has worked with many different publishing houses including, HarperCollins, Scholastic, Penguin Group, Star Bright Books, Lee & Low, and many others. Their work has been exhibited with the Society of Illustrators and at The Bologna Art Show.

Daniel Thorton
Music and Lyrics
Dr Daniel Thornton is an accomplished and awarded composer, musician, singer and educator. He has performed starring roles in numerous musical theatre productions including Godspell, Hero and the Grinch, as well as in the Off Broadway premiere of Angels. He features regularly in major community carols events, and has performed with Marina Prior, Sylvie Paladino and others. He has recorded/produced over 15 albums of original songs and his orchestral works have been performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and other prestigious ensembles. Daniel is currently the Head of Arts at Alphacrucis College, Sydney, Australia.
Richard Fowler
Director
Rich Fowler is a director across multi-platforms. His company – The Arts Refinery – gathers intellectual property developers that specialise in the commercialisation of original narratives for the contemporary arts and entertainment space. Through Richard's doctoral research (2020) in sustainability long-form storytelling and in feature film, he emerges as an expert in developing narratives for today's multi-platform market.
